goodbye/fun facts....golden lobster on  a bed of rich cream infused with the goodness of eggs, the nutty scents of cayenne pepper and nutmeg, and a dash of sherry.  it's lobster newburg day...but it used to be called lobster wenburg...why did they switch around the first 2 letters?  Well...Ben Wenburg was a sea captain and seafood was a major part of his diet...when in the mid-1800s, people considered lobster to be fish bait or food for prisoners. Wenburg happened to be friends with Charles Delmonico of the famed new york eatery Delmonico's...so in 1876 they added it to their menu and it became an instant hit! However...Delmonico and Wenburg got into an argument and Delmonico removed the dish from the menu but the customers demanded it be returned...so he changed the name to Lobster Newburg in a dig to his former friend Wenburg.
